Valley is not a building; it is people... imperfect people seeking to glorify God. We
view ourselves much like a hospital helping and ministering to the sick. With over 45
years of successful ministry, Valley is a place where answers to difficult questions can
be found and a place where people can discover family and acceptance.
VBC is a Bible-believing, non-denominational community church located in Hercules,
California, within the San Francisco Bay Area. The church was founded on October 3,
1971 in Pinole, CA, moved to its current location in 1989, and moved into our second
building in 2001.
Our mission is simple: to know Jesus personally and to share His love passionately!
We accomplish that mission through our five "E"s:
EVANGELIZE: Found People Find People (Matthew 28:18-20)
EQUIP: God’s Word Grows People (Ephesians 4:11-13)
ENFOLD: Don’t Do Life Alone (1 Corinthians 12:25-26)
ENLIST: Saved People Serve People (1 Pet. 4:10-11)
EXALT: The Lord Is Worthy of Our Praise (Psalm 34:3)
At Valley, you will experience friendly people, a unique mix of worship music that will
appeal to any style preference with an emphasis on worshipping the Lord together, and
relevant messages in an engaging atmosphere. We want you to feel welcomed and
